I'm doing the Baha'i blogging challenge for 30 days. I will be sharing bible verse(s) everyday to encourage and inspire you. I hope to continue with this blog after the challenge.
Verse 15
Share your plans, dreams, and hopes with God; turn in everything to him; seek his help and you will be successful. He will show you the doors to take. He is faithful like that.
I've been enjoying your choices. Thank you. Yes, continue after the Challenge. Inspiration is never a waste.
This post rings true as one of those cases where first you pray for something & then you go & ACT like you prayed for it. The best way, of course, to ensure that God will bless our plans is to make sure that our plans align with God's. Otherwise, we're apt to come a cropper of that old truism: "If you want to hear God laugh, tell Her YOUR plans." But I found a sort of counterpoint to that in the rooms of recovery: "Don't tell God how big your problems are. Tell your problems how big God is." That's the foundation of blessed success, don't you agree?
God is our shelter and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. Psalms 46:1 GNB Who do you say God is? I say he is the provider of all things good. He is the source of all things good. He is our protector. He is our shelter. He is our strength. He is our source of life. Sometimes we make things and people our source of the good things we want and need, when God is the right source. Lets go to him in praise, and prayer for all our needs.
When you pass through deep waters, I will be with you; your troubles will not overwhelm you. When you pass through fire, you will not be burnt; the hard trials that come will not hurt you. Isaiah 43:2 GNB God is with you in every storm you pass through. You will prosper and not wither through these storms in Jesus name. Amen!
